Today RESCUE Horizon Europe Project was represented at the Digital Futures Resilience Workshop at KTH, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, and public-sector stakeholders to explore resilience across cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and societal preparedness.
Coordinator Anders Lindgren from RISE Research Institutes of Sweden presented our work on resilient edge computing for critical infrastructure, sharing how RESCUE is developing edge AI and communication technologies that keep systems operational even when connectivity to centralised infrastructure is lost.
The workshop highlighted how resilience has moved from a specialised concern to a defining challenge of the digital age, with presentations covering topics from cyber threat modelling and 6G resilience to digital twins for cascading climate risks and the human dimensions of cyber resilience. A rich set of perspectives that reinforces exactly why interdisciplinary approaches like RESCUE are needed.
